SHORT SUMMARY OF RESEARCH INTEREST (MAX. 200 WORDS):
My research interest has been focused on understand the biological and molecular mechanisms involved in the behavior of individuals exposed to alcohol before, during and after the embryonic phase and why some individuals (profiles) are more susceptible to the alcohol effects than others. I also study the effects of other abused substances (nicotine, caffeine) and environmental conditions on behavior and cognition.
